I should just say, I don't believe in any of the sky fairy stories.
I have just taken delivery of a Triple Black 2022 R1250 GSA TE complete with Akro, and black touratech luggage.
The bluetooth headset in my helmet connects to the bike, my iPhone too. I can control it all from the handle bars.
Its my 4th GSA but this is the dogs danglies.
If I put the bike in Dynamic Pro mode, I can pull wheelies from standstill in 2nd gear!
I love a KTM, don't get me wrong, but its hard to beat the BMW thing = product and service.
With the BMW app, my iPhone is a data logger (data only stored on phone). I can even see lean angles and g force pulled on each ride.
At this rate, despite 7 hours riding today, I'm gonna be out early tomorrow.
And before you ask, its too new to go off road just yet. I've taken my last 3 on more than just green laning!
I've got a CRF250 if I wanna go dirt anyway.

well done Queens, I get the excitement completely.
After my pushbike crash last year they are telling me at the trauma clinic that I will probably need a new hip and admitting my silly bike days are behind me had to sell my beautiful Aprilia Tuono V4R. Fuck I loved that bike.
I've been forced into riding something less sporty and sat on a Ducati Multistrada V4S in a dealership the other day and realised they'd kick a lot of sportsbikes up their arses.
Some of the new tech is unbelievable. After a lifetime of struggling to set up suspension the idea of a bike that weighs you, your pillion and luggage then sets up the active suspension is pretty mad.
So is active cruise control that locks into the vehicle in front on a motorway and slows down and speeds up when that vehicle accelerates or decelerates is pretty mad too. Blindside warning lights hidden in the mirrors is cool too.
All that, turn by turn satnav from your phone, heated grips and seat and 170BHP looks brilliant and I will go for a test ride once my pelvis and hip settle down.
...then I will ride the most stupid bike ever, the Triumph Rocket 3GT (both around the same price) and probably buy that! A 2.5ltr muscle cruiser with a few electronic bits and bobs to stop you killing yourself with a 0-60MPH of 2.7 seconds. Have a look at the triple black version - it's like looking into a black hole!
Ride safe Queens mate, ride lucky too. Remember, if you aren't living on the edge you are taking up too much room.
